IIT Mandi students
MTech students in Electrical Engineering or allied programmes may pursue thesis work with the lab, subject to project fit and available supervision.
Short-term research
We occasionally host strong BTech, MTech, and MSc students for focused projects. Applicants should identify a specific research theme and explain their preparation for it.
External partners
We collaborate with hospitals, research groups, and technology partners on problems in neurological AI, biosignal analysis, and neurotechnology.
Write to Dr Siddharth Panwar with a short introduction, CV, relevant transcripts or portfolio, and the NSSIL research area that interests you.
Before writing
Read the lab’s research and recent publications before contacting us. A concise note that connects your interests and experience to a specific problem is more useful than a general request for any available position.
Application material
Include a current CV, academic background, relevant project or publication links, and a brief explanation of the problem you would like to work on. For PhD enquiries, a one-page research statement is helpful.
IIT Mandi
NSSIL is based in the School of Computing and Electrical Engineering at IIT Mandi’s North Campus in Kamand, Himachal Pradesh, India.
